Company Profile

The business was established in Surrey in 1993, providing independent Electronic Design services.

Trading was formalised when Advanced Electronic Designs Ltd was incorporated  in 1998.

In 2006 we relocated AEDL to Devon where we continue to support clients in the UK and overseas.

AEDL core skills are in the design and development of electronic hardware.  Other related services such as software and mechanical design can of course be  provided where required to support product development.

Clients range from small start-ups to large multinational corporations including Cardinal Health (Alaris Medical Products), BOC-Edwards and BlueArc.

Some of our contracts have run for many years across several product development cycles.

The business ethos is based on getting the best solution for each job and we are committed to seeing things through to the end.

The company founder has over 25 years experience in the Electronics Industry, mainly in technical roles, but also in project management and commercial positions. These include Formula 1 racing technology, medical products, test equipment and military systems.
